Onsite Wastewater Disposal
We provide end-to-end onsite wastewater disposal design services for new dwellings, public facilities, and subdivision developments. Our solutions are designed in line with Auckland’s TP58 guidelines and other relevant standards, aiming for efficient, environmentally sound, and public health-conscious outcomes. VISION assesses site constraints and designs onsite wastewater disposal system layouts, also providing feasibility assessments for onsite wastewater and commenting on the placement of system tanks and disposal fields, ensuring compliant wastewater disposal.
Site Suitability Assessments
Our site suitability assessments provide crucial insights for responsible development. We review natural hazards, perform stormwater analysis, assess wastewater feasibility, and conduct hydrological modelling to support Resource Consent and Building Consent processes. These comprehensive reports consider soil characteristics, terrain, and drainage to guide effective and low-impact development, providing a clear understanding of your site's potential.
Flood Assessment and Modelling
We conduct detailed flood hazard assessments and flood modelling using advanced tools like HEC-RAS and leveraging LiDAR data. By accurately mapping flood extents, depths, and velocities, we help clients plan for resilient infrastructure and inform compliance with local governance and best practice. Our expertise also includes assessing overland flow paths and preparing comprehensive flood assessment reports and plans, contributing to robust flood protection strategies.
River Analysis and Design
VISION applies advanced hydraulic modelling and ecological engineering principles to support the restoration and management of river systems. Our work includes designing for fish-friendly channels and habitats, improving water quality, managing scour and erosion, and appropriately sizing spillways and culverts.
